These Terms & Conditions govern all sales made by Atlas Rare Books through this website or by direct correspondence.
By placing an order, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms.
Atlas Rare Books reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. The applicable version shall be that in force at the time of purchase.
All books are described as accurately as possible following detailed bibliographical research and careful condition assessment.
Condition descriptions follow established antiquarian trade standards. Minor signs of age consistent with publication date may not always be individually noted.
All items are guaranteed genuine and as described.
All prices are listed in GBP (£) unless otherwise stated.
Atlas Rare Books reserves the right to adjust prices without prior notice. However, once an order is confirmed, the price will not be altered.
Prices do not include customs duties, VAT, import taxes, or local charges unless explicitly stated.
Orders must be paid in full prior to dispatch.
Accepted payment methods include:
Title to goods remains with Atlas Rare Books until full payment has cleared.
All items are in stock and dispatched within 1–2 working days of cleared payment.
All shipments are professionally packed, tracked, and insured.
International buyers are responsible for any customs duties or import charges.
If you are not satisfied with your purchase:
Upon safe receipt, a full refund of the purchase price will be issued within 7 days.
If an item is materially misdescribed, Atlas Rare Books will also refund original outbound shipping and reasonable return shipping costs.
Atlas Rare Books’ liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the item sold.
We are not responsible for delays caused by third-party couriers, customs authorities, or force majeure events.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable commercial law relevant to the place of sale.
